In this three day course you will learn advanced distressing techniques that you can use on a variety of surfaces, decorative objects, and wall surfaces. You will cover furniture history; learn composition, preparation of surfaces, painting, glazing, cracking techniques, mixing distressing mediums, dry brushing, sealing and protecting your distressed finish. You will also learn how to find reference for inspiration and how to incorporate these references into your finish. You will conduct hands-on exercises to develop and refine distressing application techniques.
