Class description
215-C Marbling I Learning the art of faux painting marble is both challenging and rewarding. Understanding the principle of this art is your first step to becoming a true faux painter. In this two-day class you will learn bedding principles, veining principles, extracting color, movement, and fractals. You will understand how to use mediums and marbling tools to replicate. Also, you will learn marbling history and geology. The class also discusses how to seal and protect finished hand painted marble, glazing, and top-coating You will be taught how to recognize geometrical characteristics of marble and deliberately recreate those markings on your own.
