In this two day class, you will study the colors, sheens, textures and intricacies of many popular stones, gaining the ability to replicate rare stones. You will learn how to extract and match color from various stone types to create your color palette. You will understand the fractal nature of stone and how to incorporate this basic geology into your decorative finish repertoire. You will conduct hands-on exercises to allow for your development and refinement of semi-precious stone replication as it applies to decorative painting.
