This extension of ornament one picks up with hand-painted design. Beginning with the 14th century, studies will continue through the present cotemporary time. In this one day class, you will continue with ornament timeline exploration and conduct several sketches. You will understand abstract art, in reference to its progression and purpose. You will be able to define the clear seperation between fine art and art craft.You will also learn the historical aspects which will allow you to utilize period and modern inspiration. You will conduct a hands-on exercise to develop a better understanding of ornament styles.
